CIS105 Lesson 9 LAB

CIS105 Lesson 9 Lab
Joan Cusack
So this is for my online class that I am taking with Rio Salado. I couldn't save this in an email version so I decided that I would just publish this on my blog. Thanks for stopping by :)

Here is a list of some of my favorite online links:

  1. This is an amazing places for inspiration in the kitchen. You can't go wrong with one of her wonderful creations.
  2. Where you can go to watch your favorite television shows anytime.
  3. My link for my online class. Not my favorite site but very important for graduating :)
  4. Inspiration and photographs from the world of fashion.

This is currently my new obsession. Our new little puppy. Isn't he the cutest thing? My family has always been all about the big dogs, so this is a big change. Peter, the one holding the puppy, is the whole child left at home so he is in charge of the this new love bug.

Well that's all for now! Thanks for stopping by for my Rio Salado class lab!

Origami Whales

Day 1: Origami sounded like a nice hobby, it's extremely inexpensive and can serve as a decorative piece in our apartment. We learned this new hobby from a very helpful girl, Emily, on youtube. Actually, her hands were too big which blocked us from seeing the needed details and the camera angle allowed for an awkward crotch shot in the background. In the end, our whales looked like oversized swans with no necks, premature wings and micro heads. Our results did not meet our expectations but this is just the beginning of our hobby going.
In the meantime, we have spent a day applying for jobs and setting goals. Our goal setting meeting today has proven successful as Joanie has already received an internship for the week with an event planning company! So moral of the story: don't let origami fails get you down, unless you have nothing else on your horizon.
